The Revive Laser Hair Removal Difference
Revive's premium laser hair removal solutions are for patients of all skin types and tones, from light to dark, including tanned patients. The longer wavelength and innovative cooling design of our lasers allow for effective and safe results.
What areas can be treated?
Revive laser systems can remove hair from all parts of the body including the face, legs, arms, underarms, and back. They can also treat sensitive areas like the chest, nipples, and bikini area.
What do the treatments feel like?
Revive laser systems are specially designed to cool and soothe as they glide along your skin. When the pulse light is delivered, some patients experience a mild pinching or stinging sensation. Providers can also choose between 2 proprietary treatment modes, either Speed or Comfort. With either setting patients experience an effective and comfortable treatment with cooling from a constant contact crystal.
How many treatments will I need?
Most areas require 5-6 treatments. However, the number of treatments required for optimal long-term benefits depends on multiple factors - hair thickness, the area treated, and your hair's growth cycle. Interestingly, not all hairs are actively growing at the same time and actually go through three distinct phases; growth, regression, and resting. Laser hair removal laser treatments work by disabling the hair that is principally in the active growth phase at the time of treatment. Since other hairs will enter this active growth phase at different times, additional treatments may be necessary to disable all of the hair follicles in a given area.
What happens after the treatment?
Immediately following your treatment, the area may appear a bit red and swollen. Three to seven days after treatment you may experience what seems to be a regrowth of hair. Actually, most of these hairs are being shed as a result of your treatment and are not regrowing. Between treatments, you should not wax or pluck your hair, but it is permissible to shave.
How long should one wait between treatments?
After receiving laser hair removal on your underarms or face, we recommend waiting 4-6 weeks between treatments. After undergoing laser hair removal on any other area of the body, we recommend waiting 6-8 weeks between treatments.
Revive offers Cutera HR and BARE HR lasers. Both significantly improve patient comfort by offering continuous cooling before, during, and after each laser pulse.
TREATMENT AREAS AND PRICING MENU ARE LISTED BELOW
Hair removal lasers have been used since the late 90s and have been approved for "permanent hair removal" by the FDA. Permanent hair removal is defined as the long-term, stable reduction in the number of hairs re-growing after a treatment regimen. It does not mean 100% removal of all hairs for the rest of your lifetime, and you should not have this expectation OR be told by any company that this is possible. All clients need follow-up maintenance treatments after an initial series. Maintenance treatments will address newly developed follicles.

In addition, your physician may recommend that you use a specially formulated skin care product line or prescribe a skin care regimen especially formulated for your skin type.
While traditional methods of hair removal are still the go-to methods for many, these methods are all temporary and must be repeated on a frequent basis... forever! Laser hair removal is a quick and efficient solution to rid yourself of unwanted hair.
Although patients experience few side effects, the most commonly noticed are slight reddening and local swelling of the skin, similar to a sunburn. These effects typically fade after a few hours.
Shaving, waxing, and depilatory creams are all temporary methods that must be repeated on a frequent basis. Treatment with laser systems provides permanent hair reduction for lasting results.
Electrolysis is a tedious, invasive, and painful process that involves inserting a needle into each individual hair follicle and delivering an electrical charge to them one at a time. Electrolysis often requires years of treatments at regular intervals. By delivering light energy to hundreds of hair follicles at a time, the laser systems offered at Revive effectively treat an area in just seconds that would take over an hour with electrolysis.
After receiving laser hair removal on your underarms or face, we recommend waiting 4-6 weeks between treatments. After undergoing laser hair removal on any other area of the body, we recommend waiting 6-8 weeks between treatments.
